Grief Support
Where grief is given the time and space to be witnessed.
You may be living with a loss that has reshaped your life — slowly or all at once. You may feel changed by something that ended, something that never came to be, or something you still miss deeply.
Perhaps you’ve learned how to function, how to keep going, while grief remains present beneath the surface.
You don’t need to be in crisis to seek grief support. Sometimes grief simply asks for a place to be met.In this work, grief is met slowly, with attentive presence and in relationship with the natural world as a steady companion.
This offering is for those who feel a readiness to turn toward their grief and listen more closely.
Grief in its many forms
Grief takes many shapes, and all are welcome here.
This work may support grief related to:
The death of a loved one or companion animal
The end of a relationship or friendship
Changes in identity, health, or life direction
Loss of home, land, or a sense of belonging
Ecological or collective grief
Long-held grief that has never had space to be witnessed
If your grief feels layered, complex, or hard to name, it belongs here.
Grief accompaniment
I offer grief support as one-on-one accompaniment, walking alongside you as you turn toward what you’ve been carrying.
This is not about fixing grief or moving through it on a timeline. It is about creating a steady, compassionate space where grief can be felt and honored, without pressure to make sense of it or move on.
My work is grounded in deep listening, presence, and years of experience supporting people in relationship with the natural world. Together, we allow grief to unfold in its own way and at its own pace, held with respect and care.
This work is outside of clinical therapy. It is relational, land-centered, and guided by attention to what is alive and present for you.
Support from the living world
The land is an essential part of this work.
Grief sessions often take place outdoors, where the natural world offers a steady, spacious presence. Being in relationship with trees, ground, weather, and movement can help soften what feels overwhelming and give grief a wider field in which to move.
Sessions may include quiet conversation, grief walks on the land, moments of stillness, and time to listen for what your grief is asking for.
Ritual is also woven into this work, when appropriate.
Rituals are simple, intentional acts that help mark loss and give form to what may be difficult to name. They are never imposed or performative, but arise in response to what you are experiencing and what the land offers.
The land does not rush this work. Neither do we.How grief support unfolds
Grief support is offered as one-on-one sessions, shaped around your needs and what feels most supportive for you.
Some people come for a single session. Others choose to continue over time, allowing the work to deepen gradually.Together, we listen for the pace and rhythm that feels right.Sessions are held with care and attention, and may include time outdoors, reflection, conversation, and quiet listening.
When helpful, I will offer simple invitations such as journaling, time on the land, or gentle ritual reflection to support you in staying connected to your grief between sessions.
These are not assignments. Rather, they are invitations to clarify your relationship with your grief — noticing what shifts, what resists, and what asks for care as the weeks unfold.
